French Onion Soup

Sunday afternoon was cold. Cold enough to freeze the balls off a brass monkey. COLD. So Mr. Pumpkin suggested French Onion Soup. I agreed. On the way home from church we stopped to pick up the few things we needed and then Bob’s your Uncle and we are starting soup. Mr. Pumpkin did most of the work. Alton Brown and Good Eats

One of the things Mr. Pumpkin and I share is a love of cooking. Not just everyday open a box and heat it up cooking, but COOKING! We both enjoy well prepared food, not necessarily fancy or complex food, but a perfect steak is a thing we love, along with Alton Brown and his show Good Eats.
